Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg is no stranger to disrupting the internet - but this week, he's done so for a very different reason: his apparent 'glow up'.
The 39-year-old Meta CEO stunned social media users when an image of him sporting rugged facial hair began doing the rounds on X, formerly known as Twitter, leaving dozens in awe of his 'handsome' new look.
In the video screenshot, Mark can be seen wearing a navy blue T-shirt and a silver chain necklace, while sporting a beard and mustache.
His transformation did not go unnoticed by users, who were quick to joke about the billionaire's new look: 'He went from Mr. Steal your data to Mr. Steal your girl,' one person joked, while another added: 'My man is aging in reverse.'
One even mocked that Mark had 'finally hit puberty'.
However, Mark's manly makeover was not quite as impressive as it may have seemed...
Mark Zuckerberg has been teased online for 'hitting puberty late' after fans have spotted his recent 'cool guy' glow up and were left 'shocked' by his new look
Fans took to X, formerly known as Twitter , to joke that Mark went from 'Mr. Steal your data to Mr. Steal your girl' (Mark seen in 2022)
A quick visit to his Instagram page, where the original video was posted, reveals that the bearded look was not the result of a real-life 'glow up' but rather some impressive use of Meta's new AI features.
Still, that didn't stop the internet from going gaga over the clip, with many urging Mark to grow a beard and turn the AI version of himself into a reality.
'Rapstar!' Katy Perry commented, while another person chimed in: 'You gotta get the beard for real!'
'Bro, grow your beard,' one said, as a fellow Instagram user wrote: 'Not me getting catfished.'
Over on X however, the screenshot of the video shared without context left many convinced that the 'Mark-over' was very much the real deal, prompting many to voice their shock, while others used it as an opportunity to mock the tech CEO.
One person said: 'Lmao Mark started doing TRT or something because this dude looked like a walking discord mod up until last year or he just hit puberty late idk.'
Another user added: 'Started working out and doing MMA,' referring to Mark's recent hobby of mixed martial arts training.
Someone else commented: 'Remember, you're not ugly, just poor.'
'Why bro rizzing me up right now?' wrote another user.

Mark was previously known for his brains and not his looks and was branded a 'nerd' by many people online. However, that seems to have changed in the last year - with his personal style having evolved.
Indeed, the latest viral snap of Mark comes just days after he and wife Priscilla Chan, 39, drew comparisons to Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez with their mob chic aesthetic.
On Monday, the Meta CEO and his wife debuted a different look at Saturday's UFC 300 event, showing off a more daring fashion choice.
'What an epic night,' the tech billionaire gushed in a Facebook post on Sunday, alongside several pictures and videos of the event. He then congratulated the event's winners, tagging Aljamain Sterling, Bo Nickal, Weili Zhang, Max Holloway and Alex Pereira in the post.
The comparison between the billionaire couples was first made by Business Insider, who suggested the couple were coming for Jeff and Lauren's 'mob chic crown.'
While this isn't the first time Mark and his wife have been seen at a UFC event, the couple's major fashion glow up had other fans talking. At the event, Mark donned a white shirt, gold chain and black pants to watch the fight, and pose in photos with UFC champions.
His wife opted for an all-black outfit, wearing a short black dress with tights and black leather shoes, with a solid gold necklace.

It seemed they drew inspiration from Lauren Sanchez who showed off a new aesthetic in January, embracing the 'mob wife' trend
She paired her sleek look with classic black shades that made her stand out from the crowd.
However, Facebook users were split over the tech founder's new look, with one person joking: 'One thing about Mark — he is going to dress like he got no money.'
'First time I’ve ever seen Mark wear jewelry.. is he trying to be cool or something,' questioned another person.
Others applauded his new look. 'I like your outfit mark,' an enthusiastic fan wrote. 'Still rocking those plains but a different style. Keep it up mark! I'll be waiting for your next post.'
The Facebook founder, who trains in mixed martial arts himself, was even challenged to a fight by fellow billionaire Elon Musk last year.
Mark has been fully engrossed in MMA training, with the billionaire tearing his ACL in November while training. He has been eyeing a return to the cage in September after revealing recovery was 'going well' post-surgery, but he has been unable to stay away from the sport in his competitive absence.
He shocked fans by appearing in the corner of Alexander Volkanovski in California in February, where he walked to the Octagon with the Australian featherweight and his team ahead of his bout against Ilia Topuria.
However, he could only watch on as Volkanovski suffered a knockout defeat to Topuria on the night.
